Guy Carpenter & Company has appointed Jeff Saper as CEO for its Pacific region, effective immediately.
In his new role, Saper will be responsible for overseeing Guy Carpenter’s treaty and facultative businesses in the Pacific region and will focus on further developing its growth strategy and strengthening its capabilities, the company said in a statement. Based in Sydney, Saper will report to Tony Gallagher, Asia-Pacific CEO.
“Jeff has achieved considerable growth across our facultative business in Australia and has helped to make the division one of the fastest growing businesses in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Gallagher. “With over 30 years in the reinsurance industry, he has established a strong reputation built on his extensive market knowledge of the Pacific region. I am confident that Jeff will lead the Pacific forward to the next level and continue to grow our business in the region.”
In 2014, Saper re-joined Guy Carpenter from Beach & Associates as head of casualty facultative for Asia-Pacific and head of facultative for Australia. According to the company, he will maintain these responsibilities in his new role.
