The Board of Directors for BillerudKorsnäs has appointed Christoph Michalski as new President and CEO of the company. He succeeds Lennart Holm, who has been acting President and CEO since November 2019.

Christoph Michalski will assume his new position November 1 2020.

Michalski is since 2015 the CEO and Executive Director of Vinda International Holding Ltd, a leading Asian producer of high quality and innovative tissue- and hygiene products publicly listed on the Hongkong stock exchange.

Before that, he has held various senior executive positions within the SCA group and he also has experience from the FMCG sector working for Unilever and Fonterra.

Michalski is a German national with a Master in Economics from the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel in Germany.
