Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) has announced the promotion of Monica Chun to President, a key leadership move for the growing independent holding company. In her new role, Chun will oversee growth strategy, marketing, innovation, and integration across ACC’s portfolio of agencies, which serve major global brands like Pepsi, Netflix, and Google.
Chun’s promotion comes after her significant contributions to ACC’s success. She has been a driving force behind the company’s strategic direction, helping shape integrated marketing campaigns for clients. ACC’s founder and CEO, Michael Nyman, praised Chun’s expertise and her track record of delivering results. “Monica has been instrumental in our success, and her leadership will help us continue expanding our services and capabilities,” Nyman said.
Chun is enthusiastic about her new role, highlighting the exciting momentum within ACC. “We’ve accomplished so much, and I’m eager to lead our team as we scale further. My goal is to create more synergy across our agencies and maximize the talent and resources we have to consistently deliver outstanding work for our clients,” she said.
This leadership shift follows ACC’s recent acquisition of a majority stake in DKC, a prominent public relations firm, and its creative studio, HangarFour, expanding ACC’s capabilities in marketing, communications, and creative services. The company now boasts over 550 employees across 12 offices in the U.S., London, and Asia.
In addition to DKC and HangarFour, ACC’s agency network includes MKG, Pink Sparrow, Stripe Theory, Pixly, and Trailblaze, all providing specialized services ranging from brand experiences to influencer marketing.
Before joining ACC, Chun spent 20 years at PMK*BNC, where she played a pivotal role in the agency’s growth, working with major brands like Samsung and Audi.
